Did you ever have an imaginary friend when you were a kid?
I did. The thing that makes it delusional is when you believe it’s real. If everyone that Believes in any kind of entity to protect them is delusional, then sign me up for some meds. I believe in the lord and the lady. But above all I respect nature, (which you can see, and interact with on a daily basis.)
Just because you can’t see the AIDS virus (with out the help of a microscope) doesn’t mean it isn’t really there. Well, it’s like that.
Maybe we don’t have the right type of microscope yet to see what ever it is that exists.
But I do love having conversations with atheists. I feel you help me find more insight as to why I feel the way I do sometimes. Most of the time atheists have done their research, and get me to look at things in a different way.
Blessed Be.

Good question...the invisible person was my ego. I had the biggest love affair with myself and my needs, I used to make fun of anyone who didn't see things the way I did..because of my invisible EGO that was killing me..and I had no idea what it made me look like..I was 100% fooled. Then I met the Lord Jesus Christ..my life changed from day 1..suddenly I understood that there were things larger than I was..I started to care about others..my sarcasium was gone..the anger..the hate..I no longer made fun of others..then my eyes were open to the truth of Jesus Christ..I've never looked back and I have never been happier than I am this day, satisfied, fulfilled in way I never dreamed possible.
Thanks for reminding me about the invisible person that was robbing me!
I think the biggest reason I made fun of other..especially Christians was because the truth I was empty inside..I thought it would make me feel better to beat others down..in the end it didn't work..I wasn't funny
God Bless!

I was in a deep friendship with a guy named Shluggy. He protected me from my dad's brutality from the ages of 3-5.
But then he cut out - I dont know why...
Dad is gone now - but I'd still like to raise a beer with old Shlugg -
He was a great friend...
O -wait a sec - you were refering to Jesus when you wrote of 'invisible persons'?
Well, I never had a relationship w/ him - but I know one could do a LOT WORSE.
hE'D MAKE A BETTER FRIEND, iM SURE, THAN SOME REAL LIFE PEOPLE i KNOW...

I was a Christian for about I guess 8 years (not sure where to divide the line between being a child and being a believer) Then some sort of theist for about 5. So about 13 years too long.
No specific event, here's part of my story:

I have never been in a relationship with any invisible people. Where did you get this idea from?
I am in a relationship with God. God is neither "invisible" nor is He a "person."
Maybe one day you will be liberated from these delusions.

God is not a delusion, moron.
You know you believe in Him. You're only putting up a front and a show because you like the attention and the wow factor.
You like people to think 'wow...this guy doesn't believe in God! He's such a rebel!'
If you were on your deathbed tomorrow, trust me, I have no doubt whatsoever you'd be praying to God and asking him to take you to Heaven.
Grow up.

Liberation usually starts shortly after attaining the age of reason when one starts thinking for oneself. Then it's just a matter of how long it takes to deprogram yourself to get rid of the brainwashing inflicted in earlier years.

Yes, I saw the ghosts of Christmas past. In the dark void that we call night, I saw the undead roaming across a universe calling out for help. They yelled out "DaSani, Dasani, where are you?"
Oh, you're talking about God? My bad.
