Have you even stopped to CONSIDER that other religions could be right? (Or possibly that NO religion has it right?)

Absolutely....
I'm now no particular religion. I don't think any one religion has it right.

I believe that any extremist in any religion is wrong.

As a Christian I have considered, and even believe, that there is truth in all religions. I openly accept the validity of all religious and the fact that all religions have some of the corruption of man within them.
To me, this is only logical. If God is omniscient and Omnipotent, which God is, then God knows enough to reveal himself to different cultures in the ways that the cultures will best understand. Therefore, why wouldn't God have chosen Muhammad to talk with the Muslim people or Buddha for the Chinese people...as examples.
Yes, I believe that Jesus is my Savior and in trinity that Jesus is the God incarnate on earth. But even Jesus said that "In my father's house there are many mansions". This alone could refer to differing religions here on earth, each having a place within the realm of God, also that sentient beings on other planets also have a place within Gods kingdom.
The most interesting thing is at the base of all the major world religions lies what Jesus refered to as the golden rule "treat others as you would like to be treated".
A Catholic Priest (and while I am not Catholic, I am Christian) explained something interesting to me the other day -- He said that the Bible is the religious expereinces of those who wrote it and that it was never meant to be taken exactly literally. While it tells the word of God and helps us understnad God, it has human based problems within it, and that is that the writers were writing down their own experiences, so possibly made mistakes in the interpretation. This conversation gave me new insight into the Bible, and actually came closest to explaining its inconsistencies to me. (And yes, the Bible does have certain inconsistencies).
To believe is an act of faith, to believe without knowledge is foolish. God put the tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden and gave us free will knowing that we would eat from the tree of Knowledge, but he did this so that we would not be blind followers and that we would CHOOSE to be believers based on knowledge. This is a good enough reason that comparative religion courses should be manditory in a well-rounded university education, bu an even better reason to understand the world's religions is to understand what is going on in the world today.

Yes, in great depth. Most people follow the religion of their parents, but what makes that religion the RIGHT one? Is there even a God at all? How do you know? You have true faith only if you can face these questions and answer them honestly and with good sense. Otherwise, you're just blindly following what someone else has taught you.

Yeah, I think before I do things, I know that Christianity is right, it's true, and I refuse to play the what if game. Have you ever stopped to consider that maybe Christians know what we're talking about? Even if you have to have more than faith, htere's tons of proof.

Not worth considering as Jesus is right and the Bible is the word of God. Studied all of that before I made up my mind. Have you stopped to consider the condition of your own soul?? You see, you are so very wrong and headed on the wrong path..

Yes, I most definitely have. And I have concluded that Christianity of the Catholic variety is the right one.

People are allowed to do that .... right?

How come you didn't ask such a question of Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, or atheists?

Why are you singling out Christians for your question?

*holds hand over ears* LA LA LA LA...I CAN'T HEAR YOU

lol, no just kidding. Ya sure I did, but they all teach the same thing. That thing is BE GOOD! Once you understand that, it doesn't matter what religion you are.

Besides, Jesus is awesome at parties. Can Moses or Mohamed turn water into wine? I think not!

First off, am not a Christian but I believe that whatever works for one or the other is their path. Religion is all man-made but
Spirituality, now that is another matter...

Yes. But I still believe, as do millions of others in this world. Many other religions tie in with Christianity. I think that many of them (religions) have valid historical viewpoints. But I'll stick with the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, thanks.

well, almost all religions and confessions are the same... if stop comparing that little differences... if stops considering that you're the only right with your own church...
God is in your hearth... and does not matter how you name him and how do you prefer to speak to him... silently in your room, signing in a church, humble in a cathedral or beating ya head or back in any other place...
