Has anyone lived in hawaii or vacationed there, how much did it cost?

Is it dangerous that I'm going alone?

Just enjoy yourself. It is only 2 months and that is actually a pleasant amount of time to spend in Hawaii. Try to get to a couple of the other islands if you can, each island has its own flavour.

Hi Pick!

You know, for you to be concerned about your family more so than yourself is a very good thing. That says alot about who you are. But, hon, you are getting to the age where you are an adult. You have to have your own life. This should be an adventure for you and once your in Hawaii I bet you will realize this.
That doesn't mean you don't love your siblings. Talk to them daily on the puter, send them postcards regularly. Let them know you are there if they need you. Make time for them.
But you have to plan for yourself also. This may be the first step towards your independence and that means not being with your family 24/7, but that's a good thing too. Talk to them before you leave, (I bet you already have) and tell them you are going to miss them and that you will always be thinking of them. Their going to miss you terribly, no doubt. But this is the 1st of many doors you will go through in your life. ENJOY IT!!!

When I was 18 I went and lived in Germany for a month. Don't feel bad, you're about to have one of the best experiences of your life! Enjoy yourself while you're there! Home will still be here 2 months later, don't worry about that. But you will have changed, and you will change for the better. You will learn so much about the world and more importantly about yourself. It will do nothing but good for you! Good luck!
