The issue here is not where you do propose but rather, who are you proposing to. I want to believe that the entire world is now what some people call "a global village". Whether you meet your lover in the same city or neighbourhood or on the net doesn't really matter to me. The most important thing is what becomes of your relationship. I can say it confidently that I've met someone on this site and have proposed and we're moving along fine. Needless to mention names here but it works, at least it has worked for me.

If people are willing to get married in Wal Mart, then I suppose it is only a matter of time before someone proposes marriage in Yahoo! Answers. How romantic, NOT. Imagine telling your children the story of how the both of you met? You were both bored, online, and talking through a question and answer format, and not even is a chatroom, as soul-less as chatrooms are? Jeesh, talk about hollow.
