my ex broke up with me, and now hes not talkin to me. i want to be friends with him but i dont know wat to tell him. hes in northcarolina for the army while im in tx desperate wantin to call him and talk to him. hes goin to iraq next year. and i still worry for him. should i text message him or wat? please help.

You should probably move on with having a boyfriend but that doesn't mean you can't be friends. Send him a text telling him that you want to be friends. If he doesn't respond in the way you would have hoped or he doesn't respond at all give him some time. He's probably got a lot on his mind right now.

You could text message him and ask him how things are going but if you don't get a reply then leave it be. But don't be surprised if once he heads over to the desert that he dosen't give you a call or something because alot of people realize the small things in life are precious when they are put into certain circumstances

Well .. I think if it were me. I will call him, and tell him how I felt. At least you will have it all off your chest and know that he at least heard you. The ball will be in his court and he should make the next move if any. After that I would wash my hands of him. You gave him the chance, you told him how you felt.. the deciding factor will be up to him whether to pursue you or not. Good luck. And if by chance he does not respond to your liking.. get on with your life.
