These are the major sects of Islam :
- the Sunnis who are warlike and believe in violence their caliphs corrupted the Quran and they follow the non authentic Hadiths(sayings) of the Prophet.
- The Shiite sect which are also violent and worship Ali.
-The Sufis a peaceful sect which nonetheless still follows the corrupted Quran.
-The Zaidiyyah- a very peaceful loving sect of Islam which follows the Islam revealed to Mohammed(saw) by the 99 gods.

I am so sick of questions like this.
The answer is there is no correct answer for living, breathing humans. Religion is a matter of faith. How you come to a particular faith more often than not is reflected primarily by your upbringing, but can also be a product of your life experience. The answer to your question is choose the belief that you feel most comfortable with, but you will not know which is the one true faith until you die and meet the maker.

Only the one who follows the Quran rightly and does not say that "there must be a mistake in The Book" (excluding human errors) or tell make-up stories about Islam.
