Here's what Christians believe (this is what they've told us right here on Y!A):
1) The Devil has vast powers to tempt and trick them into committing sins here on earth. And he's good at it -- 'cause EVERYbody sins.
2) Sin is an abomination to God, and he will punish sinners in the next life.

So: If the Devil gets ya while yer alive, then God will getcha AGAIN after you're dead.

Do believers worry about this?

The answers are all there. As much as they claim that Christianity is _not_ a 'get out of jail free' card, it clearly is. I think that the talk about the Devil and God are mostly there to apply to _other_people. It's a chance to belittle outsiders and strengthen their group-mentality.

Christianity is not about morals and ethics. It's not about improving the world. It's about self-preservation of two different kinds: 1) Preservation of your own individual a*se by accepting Jesus as your Saviour and 2) Preservation of the Church's power by presenting itself as the _only_ way to get to heaven and everything else as an abomination: Satan's work, sin.

I think that churches are at their most powerful when they can make themselves out to be something like 'safe havens' in times of war - as the cities are crumbling outside, within these walls only we have the key to an eternity with our Almighty Father. So cough up that 10%, please.

In the end, it doesn't matter, because while they're in there hiding their heads in the sand to avoid the big ol' nasty sinful world, some of us are out there living it, improving it and enjoying it.

No I don't worry about this. You see about 2000 years ago a man came down from heaven and payed the fine for my sins so that I may live forever. That man's name is Jesus Christ. God Bless

To answer your question if believers worry about this? I would say no they don't. Believers that know and love and follow God and Jesus, know where they are going and that is Heaven. The non believers of God are the ones that should be worried. I feel for the ones who don't believe in God or Jesus and downgrade Him and say evil towards Him. They are the ones that are in danger of Hell. But the judgement of where these people go is not up to me or any human being. The ultimate judge is God. He will decide who will go where and when.

Believers may be worried about other loved ones who don't believe in God or Jesus and may feel anxious for them. I feel anxious for some of my loved ones who don't believe in God or Jesus. I pray for their souls a good bit.

I'm not worried, God's forgiveness means that we repent of our sins here on Earth. He's not gonna "getcha" after we're dead. No I'm confident,
