Do all single men my age only want a one night stand???

To all you single men out there, I'm a BBW and I think that I'm cute but my question is why am I good enough to do the one night stand thing with but not good enough to have a real relationship with??

Are all you single men my age (36 wednesday) only looking for one nights stands??

I realize I'm setting myself up for all the bashers to have a field day but I have to know!!!

Please only reply if you have a serious answer for me, I've done nothing to you to warrent bashing, thank you.

I was married for 12 years and am not anymore.

And no I'm not willing to have sex on the first meeting, but the only hits I get on the dating site I'm on only want sex.

some guys are @ssholes and that is all they look for. You need to find yourself a guy that will take care of you the way you need to be taken care of instead of the guys that just want to hit it and leave. That is why us guys have a bad wrap for $hit like that but there is still some nice guys out there that will spend time with you to get to know the person before sleeping with them.

The answer to your question is No. However, finding one that wants a relationship might be a bit hard.

I would first have to ask where you are meeting the men who only want a one night stand? If your answer is in a bar, then yes 100% of the ones you meet only want a one night stand. I don't personally know any men who go to bars to meet women who are looking for anything past a few hours.

Something else you might consider, is that most men your own age, unless they are divorced, really are already taken. While that may not stop them from wanting sex outside thier marriage it does prevent them from looking for a new relationship.

Also I know many men who feel that if a woman sleeps with them the first day they meet, (the 1 night stands you mentioned), that they won't look to that person for a relationship because they think she is someone who sleeps around all the time with just anybody. Note: This won't stop them from spending the night, they are just not likely to come back.

And lastly, find someone you have more in common with than just sex, I mean, that's great and all, but you have to have something in common to talk about over breakfast as well.

Not everybody is looking for a one night stand. There are people out there and in here that are looking for relationships but having no luck. Maybe you're looking in the wrong places. Lord knows that I've found a lot of women that are doing the same thing. So, your not alone. Usually by the time men reach their late 30s, they are looking for a long term relationship, but have a hard time finding the right person. It's especially hard when your divorced with kids. So, eventually, men, as I am, end up giving up on finding that right person to have a relationship with. Trust me, I know where your coming from. 37 here and it's a pain in the *** trying to find someone that want's to have a relationship, and not just one night stands. Hope this helps you out. Oh, and one more thing, not everybody is out to bash people. Some people just like trying to help other people out, that all.

Most call me a blunt ****** so I'll field this.

Men are pigs....men just want to dip their stick in something.

If its cute, thin, fun to be around then they keep it to stick it.

If its not all that cute, or fun or maybe bbw then they stick it for a night and move on.

1. In hopes to find a better one to stick
2. Just took one for the team
3. Desperate and just hate to get laid

Remember a male brain is simple. We see "looks" and that is about it really. It is how we are programed from cave man days. To seek out what we consider good looking so we can procreate with it to ensure our gene pool continues on.

Its also why some men leave their women after time when the women get heavy. The men are no longer attracted to them and even though there might be 15, 20 yrs there...doesn't matter to the man. He just wants something to make his stick happy.

There are men that only want one thing and that's because their not ready for a relationship. But not all men are like that some would love to have a relationship the trick is finding the right one.. I'm 43 and i can tell you that allot of women just want a one-nigher also. And sometimes you think you will never find the one for you but in time you will... And if some great sex comes along during your search then just have fun and enjoy it.. You will find the right one someday...

I would say. "Depends on the man."
Some men are tired of one-night-stands and are looking to settle. Others have decided that settling down is not for them.

All through the teens and 20s, men are ruled by their hormones...but when you get to your 30s, you get a strong sense of what you want and don't want in your life.
For myself(32) to give a personal perspective, I am looking for an exceptional woman. The kind of woman who comes around once in a lifetime. I have very exacting standards on what type of woman I will let have access to my life.

Don't let the fact that you are a BBW get you down. I have known and dated many women of different shapes and sizes. After the first visual impression, it was their personalities that kept me hooked.

It could be that the man who is looking for you is just around the corner. Don't give up.

Well I would say that your looking for a relationship in places where one night stands thrive. Expand your search criteria and you will be more then lucky to find what your looking for. One night stands are only entertainment but it takes two to dance if you know what I mean. As long as your willing to settle for one night stands then that is all your going to get. There are tons of men in your age group that are more then willing to find a relationship. So don't give up hope

You have to find the right one, this takes more than 1 night. If a guy likes you and respects he will put the effort in to get to know you.

No, they're not all looking for one-night stands. But if you're willing to have sex with a guy right after meeting him, you're instantly "telling" him that you're not good enough to be his girlfriend.
Guys don't want to bring home a girl who's easy. Men won't respect you if you give it up like that. You first have to respect yourself, and believe that you ARE good enough for a real relationship. When you get to that point, men will see that in you, and they'll have respect for you.

I'm 36. I would imagine other guys my age who are single are really trying to find someone to marry. However, I've foud that many others, like me, have given up on relationships and only want to have some fun. In my case, I've discovered that I don't really need someone permanently by my side and if I want sex I'd rather do it without a commitment.
