It seems to me that they don't. I suppose u guys like it that we make the effort to look good 4 u but do you really care what we look like as much as we do? Are we just totally obsessed 4 no reason? i dont get it.

Many women are driven by the fashion industry. They dictate what's cool to wear and what's not, and the pressures of society make them go along with it...
Men's fashions have changed very little over the last 20 years because, well, it's not as BIG a market as women's fashions...
Women's fashion is a multi-BILLION dollar industry, and to keep it going and generating money, they have to KEEP telling you to change things around, playing on your vanity, telling you you need to lose weight, change your hair, and take those white shoes off.
So... are you totally obsessed for no reason? No... but you're obsessed because you don't want to feel out of place with all the OTHER women who are obsessed.

I think men arn't so much attracted to what it is you are wearing, but the effort itself. Taking care of yourself is an attractive quality. Men are not so great when it comes to style and taste in clothes. Frankly, women could wear almost anything and be attractive. However, the effort you ladies put towards trying to look your best is a very sexy quality.

Men do care about what women wear, especially if the girl is gonna hang out with them. Less clothing tend to make the guy feel like he's a pimp (not good). I want to walk with a girl which every other guy wants to be me, because I have a woman with class (which is very hard to find nowadays).

Most men are not real sensitive to clothing issues. As long as all the important things are covered. Men like looking at women that are dressed in a fashion to attract their attention. They are not looking at the clothes but the shape of the body in them. That is mostly what you are dealing with.

We don't. Does it make you look hot? That's what most of us care about. Enhance the breast and show off your butt a bit, and most guys will be happy. Just don't push into **** zones because then guys normally get embarassed in public...like if on a nice date. We may like how u look in it, but many worry about those around us. That's just coming from a guy who takes dates to nice fancy places, not Buger King or Hardees.

In my experience men like a woman who dresses cleanly, within their personality, and a bit sexy (not slutty)... but what they notice most, is not necessarily the clothes we have on but our attitude in the clothes, if we feel we look good, they catch on to that and compliment us (telling us we look good) which increases our favoritism for certain clothes.
I picked up my boyfriend the other day wearing cut-off shorts and a t-shirt... I was in a really good mood and not really paying attention to what I was wearing, as he was just coming back to my house, and the first thing he said to me was that he really liked the t-shirt I had on (and it only has the name of the school I work at on it). He was responding more to my mood than to my clothes.

YES you get it! Women dress because of other WOMEN, not men. It is their catty form of "competition," a horrible losing game because there will ALWAYS be someone who looks better, and usually NOT because of the clothes. To answer the question, I care about what my woman wears -- as long as she is wearing what I like and for ME!

Most women are far to obsessed with their appearance. We appreciate a woman looking good, but I have more appreciation for a woman that looks good without trying than one that has to doll up.

Yes, a guy likes to know that his lady is well dressed and looks good all the time. My wife would want me to pick out the lingerie she would wear to work every day, so that she would know that she was wearing a bra and panties that I picked out for her.
When she was ready for work she would ask me to loo her over to make sure all was right. No tags showing, no lint or loose, stray threads.

Men hope that in the case of their girlfriend - that they wear things that make them look like they are with the times. Something that flatters their features, but it also needs to be something that SHE is comfortable in - so she isn't always checking herself out in a mirror or something - that just gets annoying.
