My sister is getting married and, as her main bridesmaid, she has asked me to read a scripture from the Bible during the service. Any ideas what I could read?

great question! Here are the ones I used in my January wedding and a bunch more.

Song of Songs 8:6-7 ( read threw this book it has lots of good things in it)
Close your heart ot every love but mine. Hold no one in your arms but me. Love is as powerful as death, passion is as strong as death itself. It bursts into flame and burns like a raging fire. Water cannot put it out, no flood can drown it but if anyone tries to buy love with his wealth contempt is all he would get.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 &13 (typical wedding reading)
Love is patient and kind it is not jealous or conceited or proud, love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable love does not keep a record of wrongs love is not happy with evil but is happy with truth love never gives up and its faith hope and patience never fail. meanwhile these three remain faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.
Few more ideas.......
Genesis 2:18-24
Corinthians 12:31- 13:8a
Ecclesiastes 4:7-13
Colossians 3:12-14
