I don't know if I'm really the best one to answer this but my boyfriend went away for about 2 months. I really missed him at first but then I realized it was kinda nice having time to myself! I did a lot of things with friends and family and just kept myself busy and now it's been 2 whole months and he just got home. if you can though email and snailmail whenever posible and take advantage of those phone calls. I got only one all summer and I wasn't even home so make sure whenever it's him talk for a while. See how everything's going with him. Remember, he wants to do this and it will mean a lot to him if you show some support!

are you really that stupid. he is in jail.but he is not missing you if he only talks to you once every 2 weeks.where the heck did he say he was going.you can make a phone call to the jungles of africa nowadays. so he is in jail. and is using the computer to chat from some pretend place. you are so gullible.the only research he is doing is how to take an inmates penis up the butt.phone the local jail and just ask if he can have visitors,if they say yes, then you know he is there . if they say we're sorry we don't have him in custody then i apologize for the insinuation.hope this helps

Since I'm deployed in Iraq I've been away from my husband for 10 months and counting. Were making it by talking often and emailing each other everyday. Communication and trust really help. He sends me things I love but cannot get in Iraq. I tell him I'll be home soon and send pictures whenever possible. That's how we make it and I wish you the best at making it yourself.

My husband was away in Iraq for over a year. And I only got to talk to him once every couple of weeks. There's nothing that will help you miss him less. Just hang in there. And try to find something to occupy your time. I took ballroom dancing classes while my husband was overseas. Try something like that.

hun, Distance makes the heart grow fonder...ive been through it for 5 months..my sisters husband was out in war for 7 months..why miss him less..why love him less? common!! doing that will only make you just loose interest and want to move on b4 he even gets his butt back to you..think about al the times youve shared..and think about all the times you will have when he gets back into your arms...dont be pushing it away..your relationship will strengthen from this..miss him..love him...and pray that he returns to you safely...good luck!

Sometimes life put us through test and maybe this is like a test. If u love him then u have to be strong and wait for him to call or return. Wouldn't u want him to do the same if it was u who was away?

Hopefully you won't love him less. Get involved in a club or project. Habitat for America or another really worthy cause. If you are helping others, you will think less about how sad you are.

Don't worry...just keep yourself occupy by going to work or hanging out with your friends. There's an old saying: Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Write to him everyday in a journal or something. Even though you can't send it to him, it will help you feel connected. Keep a calendar on your fridge and cross off each day until he comes home to you. It's difficult but you can do it by keeping him close in your mind and heart.

Find someone else until he gets back. That, or look forward to the day when you are together again. Plan something big like a vacation or a party.
