This is cheaper and more fun.

Get an UNabridged English dictionary: Webster's or Funk & Wagnall's.

Pick an English word you already know and look it up. Read all about it. Somewhere in the definition will be a word you do not know. There it is, properly spelled. So look it up. Read all about it, including how to pronouce it, how it's used in a sentence, where it came from. And somewhere in that reading will be another word, also properly spelled. Look it up.

Do this for at least 25 words a day and you'll not only have a fabulous vocabulary, but you'll be able to use it correctly in almost no time.

If your comprehension of written English isn't up to this, then supplement it with an English-to-(your natal tongue) dictionary. Takes a little longer at first, but not for long. You'll be surprised how quickly you'll pick up the pace. That is, if you WANT to.
