The Bible contains stories and experiences of many thousands of people from many different social backgrounds. Everything a human being could possibly experience socially is discussed in this book. Good things and bad things, love and war, murder, incest, government corruption, organized crime, infidelity, you name it, it's in there. Very few modern parents have knowledge of all of these things.

You think that the smart parents might have been raised with the principles of the Bible? And since they are so smart from that they are raising their kids that way?
Where do questions like these come from?
How come you aren't smart enough to know this?

The bible just guides them and their parents are guides too. God is like your parent just like you mom or dad. Humans aren't perfect so your mom and dad can't do everything. The bible leads and teaches people how to behave spiritually and morally. Your parents are more specialized in the manners part.

In dealing with ghetto kids and rich kids in Houston, and in ministering to inmates in Texas prisons, I have come to the conclusion that the parents are worse off than the kids. Children readily accept Bible principles and easily learn to memorizing scripture verses. Adults can learn these things too, provided you can sober them up from the drugs and alcohol, and get them to stop screaming at the kids and each other. As long as there is rebellion in this world people like myself will never be short of people to minister to. God's word is truth---it is the only truth worth having. Man's truth comes from the devil, and this truth is self-serving. there is no hope in the truth of men. there is only salvation in the truth of God. Jesus loves you.

False comparison! Can their parents use the Bible and religion as tools to teach their children. Parenting and religion are not opposites.

My dear, if you truly need to ask this question, I believe you've already answered it for yourself. And, at least in YOUR case, NOT in the positive!
