It is obviously the chicken. God didn't create the reproductive system before the producer.

Biology proved that it would have had to been the EGG.

A species of bird before the chicken evolotion would have had to lay the egg, and the egg would have had a genetic mutation- thus, making it a chicken, not the bird it was layed by.

I was just as surprised to hear ti as anyone else, but I suppose it's pretty obvious!

This question has been answered clearly as avian species evolved from reptiles who already had egg bearing young. They in turn came from the eggs of their evolutionary predecessor the amphibians who have soft eggs, but some more "firm" than those of their predecessors the fishes, who lay eggs as well. All life comes from an egg which is a large cell. Cells were the first form of life, and all evolved from there.

Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny- We also all come from an egg state: we simply go through the next developmental stages in the womb prior to our birth.

the chicken did. Because the chicken has to lay the egg!!! how would eggs be here first if there were no chickens?

It was the egg!! not a chicken egg just any egg from another species.
