Nope. He will grow a bit more, but because of puberty, his testosterone will cause the epiphysial plates in his bones to fuse and make his bones stop growing lengthwise. Sorry. He won't spring up 7 inches. By the way, he could have a surgery they do to midgets where they break their legs and pull them apart so that when the bones fuse, they are now longer. Painful, but if u really wanna get taller, that's how they do it medically.

He will grow to be taller if he eats a very healthy diet. Drink lots of milk. Your bones need lots of calcium at this age. I know a guy that is also short. He lifts weights and doesn't get extremely bulky but you have to be in good shape to attract the opposite sex. Your height is only one part of the equation. Don't let all your hope rest on your height. You could ask him if he feels that his entire future relies on just his height or if there may be other factors to consider. I have another friend that is so skinny that I honestly don't know how he keeps his pants up but he has an excellent personality. So he does pretty good with the ladies.

there's no fast way to get height, he will just have to wait for his growth spurt to end and he may or may not be taller by the time its done, but height is all based on genetics...
