There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

this is so annoying... someone asks this dumb question everyday...knowing you know what love is...your parents have loved you before and still do.... if you dont kno what love is then go jump off a cliff and dont die and see how many people come visit you, and then youll know what love is

Love is choosing one person over anyone else...and sticking with it for better or worse(unless of course that person does something to jeopardize their love for you)
