False prophet, false book (Quran), false religion. Not in the Holy Bible AT ALL. Not a prophet of God. Jesus Christ is the one and only. Don't be deceived.

Because the Bible does NOT preclude the possibility that there could be Prophets subsequent to the end of the Hebrew (Old) and Christian (New) Testament periods.
(Also recall that Ishmael, the son of Abraham, and Hagar, his mother, were exhiled from the tribe. . .Abraham's first wife, Sarah, and Hagar could not get along. . .big surprise. . .but G-d cared for them in the wilderness and disclosed that Ishmael would "beget 12 princes" and will make "a great nation". Few scholars today would dispute that this refers to Islam. . .and the bloodline of Mohammed.)
And while I am not Muslem. . .the irony is that at least we can prove unquestionably there was a Mohammed in history. . .regrettably the historic Jesus and even Moses continue to be clouded by controversy. . .and that the Koran is a magnificent work for humanity, as are both the Hebrew and Christian Testaments.

The bible is like any other book, written by humans. Humans tend to leave things out or cut things out of writtings that they do not want the general public knowing about. So, if you take this into consideration, just imagine how much more there is out there for us to learn, but, government and higher authorities don't want us to know about. Plus over the years the Pope's of the early centuries cut a good portion out of the bible because they did not believe the words themselves or they didn't want others to know the words. Recently Pope Benedict has vowed to reinstall parts of the bible that were cut out but can be found in the Koran and other religious materials that have steemed from Christianity. So, with that in minnd, he is looking to put into the bible the works of Mary. I hope that maybe in one day, we can get back to the original bible the way that it was meant to be read and the way that it was written. Although we will never know the truth until we die.

It can be argued that Jesus couldn't see into the future. Either way, no religion accepts prophets after theirs. That goes for jews, christians, and muslims. They're all looking for the return of their prophet, and that won't be happening any time soon. And so when someone comes claiming to be a new prophet, it has to be a new religion....because the religion it spurred from won't accept it. Every major religion in a plagerism of the one before it. Half of the bible is the torah, which was just renamed "the old testament." 2/3 of the qoran is just stories from the jews and christians, and then it added its own social order to it. That's how it always goes. Borrow from one religion, and make your own. In the end, it's all the same crap wrapped in a different kind of gift-wrapping.

Probably because he lived in a different part of the world and already had his own scriptures devoted to him in the form of the Quran.
It wasn't like today where we have all manner of global telecommunication. Countries and regions were localized and far more isolated. It took years to cross oceans and deserts, at much peril. It wasn't just, climb into a car or get on a plane and go see this prophet or that one.
Besides, just because he's not in the bible doesn't mean he didn't exist. We have no knowledge of what information may have been excluded from the bible to promote certain agendas.

I don't think that Mohammed served the same God we serve. Our beliefs, though having similarities, are not based on the same doctrine, as Jesus is central to ours as Lord, God and Savior, but to that religion, He was simply a prophet.
I don't know what the prophecies of that religion reflect, but a lot of the prophecies spoken of in the Christian bible for-tell of the coming of Jesus Christ, how He would die, and what He would accomplish here on earth for mankind. The other prophetic words reveal the will of God and teach us about who He is and what to expect from Him...for our instruction.

Ask the Christians who have accepted Islam. They were very relligious people and they will give you the better answer to your question.
Majority of the people on this category have no knowledge about God and religion. Study Christianity Judaism and Islam you will come to know that all the previous Prophets were preaching the same message. They were all Muslims (Submission).

1. Muhummed is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon 5:16. The Hebrew word used there is Muhammuddim. The end letters IM is plural of respect majesty and grandeur. Minus "im" the name would be Muhamud translated as "altogether lovely" in the Authorised Version of the Bible or 'The Praised One' 'the one worthy of Praise' i.e. MUHUMMED! (P.B.U.H)
read the second link and it explains the above in it's entirety.

The bible doesn't mention the Buddha either. The bible is strictly one religion's interpretation of God.
