Any locksmith can make you new keys. If you have AAA the can send a locksmith out and all you will have to pay for is the key itself.

yes a locksmith or a full service dealer can. There is a number on the face of the tumbler face of the ignition where you insert the key; that they can translate into the shape of the key to fit. If that is worn both of those places have a master book and in some cases a tumble reader to get the information to make a key. Do the same for any other key lost, example lift gate etc. Have an extra set made to be on the safe side, and try them before you leave the place.

You may have to replace the entire ignition, I have an 01' grand cherokee and the tumblers in my ignition wore oout to where I couldn't turn the key so instead of having the dealer replace the ignition switch I found a business on e bay called key bit lock and key out of L.A. they were great, thase keys have a chip inside them that will send a signal a little black rectangular box to let the car know that it is the proper key the box is located directly under the ignition switchwithtin the outer plastic housing of the steering column, I think that can also be purchased for around $100 I want to say that the dealer priced the whole ignition assembly( Key, switch, and electronic key reader box for around two hundred dollars plus they will charge about $90/hour for labor, I found it relatively easy to do the job myself, Good luck

As long as the key is not one of those smart keys with the electronic chip on it, any competent lock smith can decipher the code and make you new keys. If it has a chip built into the key, you will probably be stuck with a dealer.
Just grab the phone book yellow pages and look up lock smiths, call one and ask. Most of them also have mobile service so they will come to you.
Good luck, a situation like this can be a real pain in the a$$ but it needn't be a life altering event.

All locks have a code stamped on them.
Go to the dealership and they can check these codes and get new keys cut for you.
Do not deal with normal locksmiths as they do not deal with this issue. Do not go back to some mom and pop car lot you bought it from, they cannot deal with this.
Only a Chrylser or Jeep dealership can perform this action.
