Here's an idea...
IF YOU BELIEVE HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG...
DON'T DO HOMOSEXUAL THINGS.
Leave the rest of us alone.
Wouldn't it be great if people listened for once?

How do you know gay people put their happiness first? I don't put my happiness first, and I love god more than anyone. And the bible actually says nothing about homosexuality being a sin. Some people just believe what others tell them to. Wouldn't it be great if people formed their own conclusions for a change instead of subscribing to old stereotypes?

Listened to what, your ranting? Certain passages in the Old Testament may say that, but Jesus forgave all "sins," remember? And I don't believe homosexuality is a choice. It's how you are made, like eye color and height. People used to use the Bible to justify slavery, too, and I'd put this in the same category. And I can't speak for whether most homosexuals are religious. Even if they were, if you were going to speak to them this way, I wouldn't tell you my private business, either.

Their spirit is weaker than their flesh. Remember that SIN is SIN period! And that we have all fallen short. Homosexuals are given excuses as to why they can be "gay" and "saved" at the same time by false religious leaders. Maybe if we "conservative" christians were more loving and being an example of christ's love instead of gay bashing all the time, then they would be more open to the Word of God. Since when did God make us judge over another? We should lovingly correct homosexuals instead of giving them more of a reason to hate us, hate God and to continue in their hedonism. Once we make them realize that the arms of God and his church are open to them without the fear of being judged by another man, then they'll be more likely to listen to the Word of God.

Perhaps you should have an open-minded conversation with an LGBT person. Your assertion that they are not religious is in error - they are just not religious in the way you want them to be. Many don't go to church because people like you insist on beating them over the head with the Bible, which is in opposition to it's teachings. People like you use the Bible to judge people and condemn them, a behavior the Bible specifically discourages, instead of learning to love each other and respect their differences. The Bible was not meant to be a weapon.

I regret that there are not more Chirstian gay people. I hope that there are a lot more than I know of.
One problem is that they are taught that being Christian means that you have to do this, and don't do that, while missing the real message of Grace and Peace through Jesus Christ.
In the meantime, a**holes who love themselves more than common sense, like you, place yourselves as some kind of judge over those with the gay problem. You are something that makes them want to stay away from religion. They see a prick who thinks he's something, when he really is nothing, and you are supposed to represent something somebody should want, yet you don't know your religious face from your religious butt.
Your stereotype set me off, just in case you wondered.

They are involved in the works of the flesh and not the gifts of the Spirit. For THE answer to your question, read Galatians 5:16-26. God's word cannot be compromised on---it must be taken as it is written. Jesus loves gay people, but he hates homosexuality. It is the sin that he cannot tolerate. His tolerance for people is great, as he is slow to anger.

I'm am far from a bible thumper unlike you..I believe everyone has a right to be happy. If someones gay that's their business not mine. Nothings being stuck in my butt. The gay people ain't coming to my home bugging me..but them damn bible thumpers seem to find their way to my door. Stop your preaching to me I don't believe in god cause there is no physical proof that I can hold in my hand that proves there is. I don't like hearing you just have to believe does that mean if I believe in Bigfoot even though there is no proof he is alive he's here just like god.

Personally, I would pick my marital or soul partner over God anyday. Also, I'd watch your words when classifying homosexuals. God has quite a track record, you know. Let's see... ahhh. Killing a man for not having sex with his brother's wife (Genesis 38:9-10). hrmmm I think that about wraps that up. I don't think I'd marry someone like that, and I sure as hell wouldn't trust him with my eternal destination. If you want to hear more examples of "God's" treachery, you can e-mail me anytime. sbd21@hotmail.com

If you could never have sex ever again in your life...do you really think you could do that? Christians keep saying the OT laws were thrown out anyway...what's with all this picking and choosing just to support your own pet beliefs.
