if anyone has any info on the marine snipers and the training to go through please tell me please?

i bought this book a few years ago. a decommisioned highly classified marine corp scout/sniper training manual. in it they teach how to snipe, how to use the mil-dot scope, how to find camouflaged positions etc etc

i recommend this book to you. Cold Zero by Christopher Whitcomb. He's not a marine sniper per se but he's in the elite FBI's HRT - hostage rescue team.

and he was trained by the marine snipers and he went pretty in depth into hi training

check out the chapter when he and his classmates are trying their best to stalk their instructors with their rifles.

makes for real sweet reading

In the Marine Corps, to become a sniper there are several steps. First psychological testing. Then you must score in the top 2 or 3% in your rifle scores. After that is training. You must pass a test which after passing everything else only about 10% make it.
