Well if you know the story of the 3 men who played golf, professionally... OK. There was a kid who was an armature, and 2 pro's in the golf tournament ( aka the U.S Open ) And of course there was other guys too, but these three guys tied for first on the round with all the rest of the guys. So they had to have a playoff. The kid got first and the 2 pro's got third and second. Those three balls used in the playoff were kept in a box, and ever since then the number 3 has been a lucky number for golf.
Now they do sell other numbers though. I have seen A five pack.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net
