it has been suggested there is a level of spiritual awareness that surpasses are own belief systems and understanding.why does the globle religions still think of man as the pinnicle of creation ,why isnt even the possiblity of contact with these other off world species even mention once in any spiritual text thats been studied

Look at buddhism and A Course in Miracles - they talk about sentient beings that can achieve enlightenment; sentient beings are any being w/ consciousness anywhere in the universe. They also talk about how there's no order of illusions -- that sentient beings are no different than rocks -- all really the same thing (but, of course, only sentient beings can have the experience of enlightenment to realize this!)

There is NO evidence to suggest that extra terrestrial beings have EVER visited here. None.
Just a lot of conjecture and wildly innacurate findings warped by the "researcher" to his own ridiculous conclusions.
The fact is, IF there are other life forms in the galaxy (and I for one believe that there are) then the likelyhood is that they are fairly close to our level of technology. And it would take a VERY advanced level of technology to travel FTL (and I for one do not believe that the speed of light will ever be broken, sorry no "warp speed" like in Star Trek)
But hey, if you have "evidence" please post it here, if it's credible evidence, then you'll be the first in history to do so...

What evidence by NASA? SETI still has to find anything. I'm an atheist, but I wish you'd back up your question with some factual data otherwise I'll have to assume you're just one of those theists.
