It all started this year, I don't know why. I used to not afraid of dark.
I used to sit alone in a living room total darkness and enjoy the silent.
but now i cant even sit thr for 1 min if it was a total darkness.
i am afraid of leaving my door open at night when i sleep. I afraid someone might standing thr and looking at me..
I don't dare to sleep alone on a huge bed. I will suddenly have a feeling that someone is sleeping beside me.
I keep on afraid this and that..what should i do?

it might be demons messing with you....don't worry. that's all they can do, 'cause Jesus and His angels are a LOT more powerful. you'll be fine.

According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. Adrenaline is one sure way to do this. If being afraid causes you to get an adrenaline spurt (fight or flight), then low blood sugar is probably the cause.

Suggestion? The next time you feel afraid, go to the kitchen and get some protein, meat, a can of tuna or salmon or whatever, and eat some of it. Also have some carbohydrate, like a handful of chips, or some carrots/celery and some nuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and do something active for 30 minutes, like singing. You may find your fear has lessened a bit.

Chronic low blood sugar can also cause self-esteem problems, anger management problems and a whole bunch of other physical and mental nasties. You may want to check out the symptoms link on www.hufa.org, and see how you check out.

You may also wish to consult a psychologist.

Get a nightlight. Say your prayers before sleeping.
The best advice I can give you is to start working out more.
If you wear your body (and your mind) out during the day, you won't have time to be afraid. You're thinking too much. Get out there and get tired and sore. You'll sleep like baby.

I will give you a tip but i would rather that you take this in serious. it's better for you. tell all this and even how you feel right now to a ministrant or a priest. he will guide you and you will no longer have fear that makes you waste energy. good energy. he will keep everything in secret, don't even doubt it. go whenever you want.

Get a life.
These are all self induced fears.
Snap out of it.
What are you really afraid of ?
What are you really hiding ?
Be honest with yourself.

It is all part of growing up. If you have never scolded anyone, there is nothing to worry.
