Has to do with the women's movement in the late sixties early seventies. One of the phrases they used was chauvinist pig, meaning a man that treated women badly because they thought that women were second class citizens. So a male chauvinist pig was shortened to pig to men a man that is an jerk toward women.

I don;t think it is right for women to call men pigs, because women are just as bad as men sometimes if not worse. They usually call men pigs when they are upset and know they have been defeted in an arguement LOL

I think some woman, not all, refer to men as pigs for several reasons:
1. Because men are often sloppy.
2. Because they (some of them) have poor table manners.
3. Because they (most of them) have a never ending desire for sex.

...in ancient China, being called a pig or fish meant your were led by your passions rather than their intellect...
...gluttonus and lustful...just wave the slop or worm in front of their faces and presto...

Have you seen the nightstand on his side of the bed?!?! It looks like a bomb went off on it. despite having 3 clothes hampers his have to go on the floor on his side of the bed...
Not to mention inconsiderate, never gives a compliment to me. And yes I do compliment him!
