Like you said there is a god but the reason bad thing happen is because see when god created the human they were meant to be perfect. Those two humans were perfect but they disobeyed God by eating a fruit that God told them not to and its the the fruit is the disobedience that made them imperfect the fruit was like any other. The reason that the disobedience made them imperfect is because as perfect people we are not supposed to disobey god. But they did so that is why bad things happen to innocent People because we all came from the first too humans that were imperfect. But there is still hope to the people that died. And to the people that don't want to die and live forever. See if from now on you or anyone stars to study and becomes a Jehovah Witnesses you can hope for a new world were everyone will be perfect and you can be able to be with family that have died. The other reason that other bad things happen is because of Satan. The enemy of god who god will one day destroy together with all the bad people in this world
and bring peace back to everyone.

Because there is evil in the world. When God created man, Adam and Eve lived a sinless life. There was no sickness, no war, nothing bad, only good. Then Satan tempted Adam and Eve and since God gave man the free will and the right to make choices, they made the wrong choice by following the deception of Satan. This is when sin was introduced to the human race and that is when these bad things started happening and that is why there is sickness, etc in the world today. This is also why God sent his son to die for our sins, so that one day, all those who believe in Him, when we get to eternity, there will not more sickness or death or sorrow.

No one is innocent. Every person in the world is guilty of breaking at least one of the ten commandments. Bad things happen to people because of our own sin and lust for earthly things. We were given a gift and we screwed it up. It had nothing to do with God. God is not a mean kid atop an ant hill with a magnifying glass.

complicated question, complicated answer.

Why do you consider it bad for babies to be killed? It means you have moral thinking. Where did that come from?

The only theory outside creation is evolution. Evolution can only work if it has a directive power. Thats why Darwin is so famous, he came up with a solution called survival of the fittest. It means you do everything to survive. Including killing babies. If it insures your own survival. So from that perspective it cant be bad.

But we have morals. We can sacrifice ourselves for the good of others. Even by giving our own life. Evolution is puzzeled by it. Group behaviour with animals always comes back to the selfintressed of the induvidual (needing the group for its own survival). So it cant explain self sacrifice we are capable of.

So by implying you think this is bad, although it does not threaten your own survival, you must have morals given to you by God. The judging of good and evil. So the question you ask is the prove of God existing actually.
From Gods perspective we are eternal. The years on earth are just a few in eternity. His major concern is where you will be in eternity. Cause that is a lot longer and thus more important then bad things happening here.

So why does it still happen?
Think about this also before blaming God. We can choose to do bad to other people, thats not God, but us doing bad.
And of course satan. (Think though we are the major threath to ourselves, and not satan).

Bad is not created by God, bad is the absence of good. Like shadow in itself idoesnt exist, its the absence of light. And doing what is wrong, is done by choosing so. Thats the downside of the free will we got from God. But we will also be judged for useing it as we do. In the end everything will be lvled and taken care off.

you assume innocence, for one, and you also assume God would be required to prevent bad things from happening.

if God existed and he allowed us free will, he'd obviously allow for bad things to happen...that isn't to say there will not be an atonement made for what has occured, but you are certainly not the one to be calling the shots.

in short, what innocence that did exist with humanity has been tainted by our own selfish ambitions and desires. we are a plague unto ourselves and God cannot take away our free will without going against his own nature.

justice will be served.

Because if there is a god, the bible says this god is all things. This god is the light and the dark, the good and the evil. Without this god there would be nothing.

Because God only exists when something happens. If a miracle happens, it's god's work. If a disaster happens, it's all satans fault. At least that's what the christians say.

The concept of god as creating the universe and the world - with all the suffering - is problematic. For me, god isn't a deity that's involved in this world of form and didn't make the world, me, etc.

this is most common question most ignorant people ask...

First exame your question, when you refer "GOD", he can do anything he wants. He has his own plan. don't let the "compare and find out unfair thing " fool you. The bad things could be, but in eternity, they may benefit much better than those who thought they have good lives.

Again, it is God's decision. Never question God!

well, if you mean things like murder, rape, child abuse...that happens because of evil acts committed by people...they decided themselves to do these evil things to others...if you mean things like disease, that's a little tougher, and requires a lot more faith than most of us (myself DEFINITELY included) feel that we have, but God does have a plan...sometimes we see glimpses of it, like when someone who serves Him goes thru some terrible suffering and inspires other people to develop a relationship with Him, or a tragedy occurs and someone finds thru adversity strengths he/she never knew existed, and can use these strengths to help others...but, as my sunday school teacher reminds me, 'His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, and there are things that we may never understand in our lifetime'...some people think that faith is a crutch...it's not, it's a springboard...and you have to step out sometimes...
