is it better to cook dinner for a loved one or take them to a fancy restaurant and your not a bad cook by the way

. . . its way better to go to a fancy restaurant, enjoy a great meal, a couple of bottles of wine and maybe a brandy with your capuccino - then tell them you've lost your wallet and get her to pay! If she can't then their's always the washing-up - and let's face it, we all know the woman's place is in the kitchen so there shouldn't be a problem - it'll probably give you time for another brandy and capuccino! . . .

Cooking yourself for someone you love just make's it more personal...it show's that you have taken the time and trouble to make the evening/day that extra special...... Personaly i think it's a lovely idea!

Depends if you always stay home and cook for her or always go out. Spice it up by doing the opposite of what you normally do and you can't go wrong.

it is good to cook yourself to show them that you care and arw willing to do things for them it is more of a personal touch although they may think you are a cheap skate but only the snotty girls.

I guess it would depend on what kind of mood you are trying to set.....they both have great merits.......why not cook one time ...then go out one time....variety is the spice of life...so they say
