I have also tried all of the John Frieda "Frizz Ease" products as well as Infusium. I would love to be able to straighten my hair as well.

My hair is somewhat curly and I'd like to be able to wear it curly and flat iron it straight.

I have dry frizzy hair too. I describe my hair as a Brillo pad. Anyway Walgreens rebates for this month include Sunsilk products. I picked up the Sunsilk De-Frizz and it really worked. You can use it on wet or dry hair. Sometimes when I use hand lotion and it is still wet on my hands, I run my fingers through my hair and that helps some. I have tried lots of products too and I really liked the Sunsilk De-Frizz.

We all know by now that using a conditioner is necessary to control frizzy hair. The trick is to leave the conditioner on for a few minutes before rinsing it out. If you have extra time, try wrapping your hair in a towel with the conditioner on and let your hair "soak" for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse it out.

When you're done, wrap your hair in a towel for several minutes to get out the access water instead of rubbing the towel over your head. Both towel rubbing and brushes lead to hair breakage and make it much more vulnerable to frizzy hair.

Try just putting on some mousse and comb it in. Let air dry and don't run your fingers or a comb through it until it's completely dry. Using a blow dryer in hot weather will probably make the problem worse. If you want your hair straight and that's the only way you can get it that way, then by all means, use the dryer. Just use the cool setting and don't use it every day.

I have the same problem as you. I have extremely dry hair that I only make worse by flat-ironing to death every morning. It seems like I am always trying products in search of that one perfect product that is going to make my hair soft again and amazingly, the product I found that came pretty darn close I found at Target for just under $4. It is by Neutrogena and it is called Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. I LOVE it! Also, if you ever want to check out reviews of specific products before you buy, a wonderful website is www.makeupalley.com. You can search pretty much every product out there today and see if people thought it really worked or not. Good luck!

The blowing and flat iron will only make it a temporary fix.. As soon as there is humidity it will have a party without you again. The best fix is to go have it straightened with the new products that actually keep it that way til it grows out.... Yes, and it is HOT! Cost is over $100 but well worth it.... There are products that can CALM down frizzy hair but again it is only temporary.... Go talk to a pro and just get it done.. YOu will love it..

As a stylist and an educator I would recommend that you find a salon who has Eufora products. They are aloe Vera based and will do wonders for your type of hair. As you know aloe Vera is a very healing ingredient that will penetrate into the hair shaft and smooth your hair to a nice silky fabric.

Instead of applying more product to your hair, known as topical applications, why don't you try nourishing your hair from the inside....try vitamin E, olive oil, or any other skin/body/hair nourishing supplement. Now.....don't put it ON THE HAIR, but rather take the product orally. This way you don't continue to dry out the hair :(

A question: do you have curly hair? If so, try using Deva products http://www.haircareusa.com/devacurl.htm . You definitely should *not* use shampoo or comb your hair. My wife has very dry curly hair, and she started using these products and the hair-care technique used at their salon in NYC (the founder wrote this book, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0761123008/sr=8-1/qid=1153053800/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-1197416-6144120?ie=UTF8).
Try what she suggests; it worked wonderfully for my wife.

Have you tried Nioxin conditioner? I had frizzy hair too, but that stopped when I started using their products. I use Nioxin daily cleanser and Nioxin Structure and Strength conditioner.
WalMart carries it in their hair salons. A little more expensive, but worth it.

Believe it or not, try Aunt Jemima original syrup. Apply to your hair, massage it in, wait 30 mins then shampoo out. It worked good for my friend after a botched perm.

I had that kind of hair. I cut it so my hair wan't as fuzzy. Then I tried Herbal Essences. I used the shampoo and the conditioner and my hair smells good and it got a lot better!
