The lady is very successful in her own right. Maybe the real prob is her maternal kid-clock is ticking and sees the dog as competition to having kids...and yes, the dog used to stay in the room when we were having relations...but the girl yelled at the dog... I felt sorry for the dog and lost my groove...took the dog for a walk, instead! Ever since that moment she has hated the dog...

Tell her to get a life. Its a dog it not like you can have a sexual relationship with your loyal friend the dog. Talk to her and tell her how you feel about the situation. Im guessing you had the dog first? if so then she knew you had a dog so she needs to get over it.

Reassure your gf that your dog depends on you to care for it.
The dog is like a child. It cant feed itself. Are you supposed to let it starve? It cant walk itself ,are you supposed to let it roam the neighborhood? Maybe you could negotiate the sleeping arrangement and the grooming but it seems to me that the gf is insecure.
If nothing else you are proving that you are a responcible and caring individual.

You may train your dog so that your lady friend starts liking him.
Spend less time on your dog and pay more attention to your lady friend.

maybe you pay a little too much attention to the dog and not enough to her. Either way she shouldnt be jealous of an animal...
