You should not have the attitude of "making" her go out on a date with you. Animals can sense that sort of thing. Instead, you should make it plain you enjoy her company and would like to spend some time together.
It is really no more complicated than that. Strike the notion of making her go out with you... wrong attitude.

who says you need to give her a reason? Just ask her out for a casual lunch or dinner.
