Do you mean,do they start to tell jokes? I make up sandwiches for a couple of days at a time and then freeze them - by the time lunch-time comes round the sandwiches are de-frosted and perfectly o.k. to eat. And no, have'nt heard as much as a quip from any of them!

Yes, but it depends on the filling - salad doesn't do well. I used to make my own for the week and freeze them. They would defrost by lunch time. It does save time in the mornings!

the bread would be soggy, allow time for making the sandwiches, freeze something that you can cook 5 or 10 min. before serving, that's where i would cut time
