i want to date him but i definatly know i not ready 4 sex . and if thats all he wants then it would be so over. B/c i love my mom and im not about to break her heart and be stupid by doing something like that. but from what i know from him is he's a nice guy and wouldnt pressure me into doing anything i dont want to do. What a girl, she respects her parent, but would go behind MOM's back on a date? Why are you asking this question? I think you already know the answer! Where did you meet this fellow, how old is he, how old are you? If you go out and something happens to you, would that break your Moms heart? You need to realize with each decision in life, there is always consequences. If you do this knowing you have doubts,you may have to pay a price, could be your life, physical abuse, maybe you never will get home again! Think long, deeply, and look at the issues that could happen. Maybe you could have him over to meet your mom, before you date. You sound like you care about your mom, you know she loves you! You need to take care of yourself, do not be foolish with your decision! Best of Luck

This depends on your age. If you are a minor, you should get permission from your parents. If you are 18 or older, just make sure that someone knows where you are going and with whom you are going.
If you think that he may try something, do you really want to trust your safety to him? Go with your gut when you make that decision.
Never go anywhere without letting someone else know the details. That may be your only safety net.

If you like this guy, I'd say one date isn't going to hurt. But if you respect your mom and she doesn't like him, then I guess listen to your mom. "Mom's knows best". If you're not ready for sex no one can pressure you into doing so.

If your below the legal age of conscent then you should ask them, and don't be surprised if they get sort of funny about it. The reason isn't they're trying to spoil your life, the reason is because they've seen to many people spoil theirs and they don't want you to do the same.
