No, the dog wud not keep his balls after being neutered as these testes are removed during the operation, but don't let this answer come in the way of getting ur dog neutered as sterilization doesn't lead to any damaging effect on ur dogs health, infact it wud make ur dog calm and healthy!

No, your dog will not keep his testicles if he is neutered. You can have your dog sterilized, which is similar to a vasectomy in a human. The bad thing about sterilization is that he will still have all the urges and behaviors as an intact dog and will act like an intact dog but will not be able to impregnate a female. If it's really important for you for the dog to look like he is intact, there is a product called "Neuticles", which are fake testicles that the vet can put in when he does the neuter surgery so that your dog doesn't look any different.

You can get him neutered and some vets will put in fake balls so he still looks the same. Talk to your vet. Although this can be a bit more pricy since its kinda like plastic surgery

Actually, there are silicon replacement testicles that you can have placed in the scrotum sack that will fill up the slack and give him a normal appearance. It's purely cosmetic for the owner's own ego, because the dog is not embarrassed for his lack of balls and doesn't care.

no, the balls leave. There are some vets, however, who will actually put something in there so it still looks like they have their balls and have not been neutered.

Caroline, unfortunately not. This is the place where his sperm is made and in order than he cannot reproduce, they are removed. There is a thought that the dog demeanour will change, eg if the dog is nasty then he may become friendly

our pit bull was neutered, but they left his sack and just took the testicles out. It kinda looks like he still has balls.
