Atheists , may be, do not believe in anything... the genuine atheist, for a good reason, refuse to believe.... but are open minded to really look, experience and then accept . Fair enough, and perhaps stand a better chance to reach the goal than the blind believers !
Second part, why conclude that they do not celebrate anything. Why not look at it a bit positively ? If a person really chooses to celebrate EVERYTHING, then how to distinguish it from the 'non-celebration' period ? And there is really a VERY GOOD reason, if a person so desires to live ! Every moment is unique in the history of time, happening only once, and thus a reason good enough to really celebrate ! It takes a lot to really be at it ! ! !

Churches in the West are becoming dens of thieves,
money changers, sellers of religious trinkets and
worldly music. Christ said that you have turned my
House of Prayer into a place of merchandise and
corruption such as the world has never seen.

Repent! Repent!

They believe that science disproves the bible making GOD a myth and not reality. I believe most atheists still celebrate religious holiday's because of family, friends, and culture. They live the same life as you only without the church and the beliefs..

I'm a regular person who just doesn't happen to believe that there is a god. I believe in truth and beauty, and the inherent goodness in people, and the power of the imagination.

I celebrate holidays and birthdays and weddings and new years eve and all kinds of things.

They don't believe that there's a God. Period. Other than that, atheist don't have to share any beliefs.

And where do you get that they don't celebrate anything? They celebrate holidays and birthdays like most other people do.

Atheists believe in everything from abalone to zinc. The only thing they don't believe in, is Nothing -- and god is nothing.

And there's plenty to celebrate; I have several holidays marked in my calendar, plus birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, you name it.
