Hi, a little over a month ago, I received oral sex from a female sex worker in Las Vegas. It was unprotected. I had a small rub mark on the upper side of my penis that was probably 1.5 to 2 days old. I have been freaking out trying to find some answers on my risk. Everything I read says that insertive oral sex is pretty much nil on risk, but the small sore has me worried.

The best thing to do is to get tested for STDs. Your doctor or a city or county public health clinic can screen you for the most common STDs. Most experts recommend that you get tested every 3 to 6 months if you are sexually active and not in one sexually exclusive (monogamous) relationship. Not only are STDs potentially harmful to your health, the presence of an STD increases your risk of acquiring HIV by 3 to 5 times. Again, it's unlikely that insertive oral sex, even with an STD, would put you at much risk for HIV, but your best bet is to get screened for STDs now and in about 2 months get tested for HIV just to be sure.

If it was unprotected, think about all the other times she has gave unprotected oral, she's a professional, kind of gross aint it? Anyways is it a bump? If it is squeeze it, it could be an ingrown hair, trust me it happens. If its a rub mark as in kind of rough and chafed its probably just irritated and will go away in a couple weeks. Now to say what irritated it, I can't lol I don't even wanna know.

Go in and see a doc. Herpes is the most common STD spread orally. You need to know not only for your sake, but also for any future partners of yours. And always, always, always use a condom.
