You're Mom and Dad must be giving you a bad time. I grew up in the long hair and still like it. My Mom used to tell me that in the bible it say's "It's a shame for a Man to have long hair, but for a woman it is her crowning glory". Or something like that.

Grow your hair,

Most guy's will be bald before they get a chance to.

Thanks,
Buster

I thought the jewish one said something to the effect of you cannot take a blade to the hair on your chin or by your ears. I think some of this stuff gets misinterpreted. It reminds me of a joke.

So an old monk asks the high priest how the rules they live by are made. The priest replies that they are copied down from ancient tablets, and copied from the previous scrolls and so on. The monk says, "Well, what if there was a mistake in one, then the new rules would just be copied wrong generation after generation. We could be living our lives incorrectly the whole time" "I guess you're right" the priest replies. So the monk demanded to see where the ancient tablets were. So he take a young monk with him down to the basement of the catherdral to look at the ancient tablets. As the old monk looks at the tablets he lets out a shriek and begins banging his head on the wall. "What's wrong?" the young monk asks. The old monk screams, "The word is CELEBRATE!"

Don't worry if you didn't get it. Most people wont.

It does not say you can not have long hair. It says that the man can not dress as the women, and the women can not dress as the man. Hence, the current view of how a man should look or a woman, is relative. I believe that if you follow the teachings of the Bible, what you look like has no bearing on your soul.

True!!!!!!!!
Churches in the West are becoming dens of thieves,
money changers, sellers of religious trinkets and
worldly music. Christ said that you have turned my
House of Prayer into a place of merchandise and
corruption such as the world has never seen.

Repent! Repent!

If this answer offends any of you devil worshipers,
take it up with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Don't mention God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, Holy
Ghost, Holy Bible, Church, Christians, sin, Religion or Spirituality if you don't
want to hear from me.

Dear young man, the USA is a free country , one can have long hair , short hair , no hair at all. It's your choice. Religion is a choice no matter which one , or not one at all.

1 Corinthians 11:13-15 (NASB)

13Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

14Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him,

15but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering.

This wasn't a commandment, just an observation.

it doesn't.
if you check the story of Samson, his strength was in the length of his hair. He took the rite of the Nazarite - as did Yeshua Messiah, Jesus, which instructs not to cut your hair until you have finished your passage. then you cut it - but are allowed (like Samson) to grow it back if you want.
