I have many friends that fall in love with people online only to have their heart broken. Is it really worth all the heartache? They usually fall in love with people from the other side of the world. Can they truly fall in love online and live happily ever after when they are from opposite sides of the world?

love can happen anywhere and everywhere. the net, bar, beach, work, school, even gettin a slurpee at your local 7/11. love is da hardest to find and also da hardest to let go. i mean u just cant have an online relationship. u have to meet da person! if i fell in love on da internet wit a wonderful girl right now, i would be happy.

This has happened to me and yes it is real, if both of you are honest and exchanged real photo's and full descriptions, discussed likes and dislikes, been open with each other, warts and all, then things can and will happen. You get into each others minds, hearts, affections, emotions,etc and connect. You do yourself no favors by lying about things, be open, be honest.

anybody could pretend to be somebody when you're on the internet. there's nothing wrong with online dating, it's just that it's hard to fall for someone you don't really know. i just don't believe in love brought about by technology.
