I just continued doing what I enjoy. It's best to find someone who'd interested in things you're interested in too. Tht could be the gym or a bar.. but only if you're okay with going to those places. I personally hate bars in particular and they make me very uncomfortable.
As for the internet being a poor place to meet people, that's not true. I'm interested in cars and that's kind of odd for a girl. To a lot of guys that would just make me more of a novelty than anything. How convinient... she likes to detail cars.
Anyway, so I met my current boyfriend on the internet on a car forum. We've been together nearly a year now and before that had known each other online for around two years. We eventually met (he flew from the west coast to the east coast) and later he drove with me across the country to live with him. He's the most compatable person I've ever been with.

If you're not into the club/bar scene, maybe take a class or join a sports team like baseball or volleyball. I think that online is a great way to meet people. People often say that everyone online lies about their life - but I dated guys from online for about 2years and I didn't find anyone to be too far off from what they said they were. I think the key is to not keep the relationship online for too long - go out on a date after talking online for a week or two.

Probably not the internet. Try human interaction. Go clubbing. Go to a bar. I'd say the gym is the best place because you meet the best people there. They obviously care about their health and they're in good shape.

dun just look them at their looks, but their hearts..
be nice to them..
dun be such a geek!ladies hate that!but some ladues thinks geeks were so cute.

i met my husband through a friend of his....maybe you could ask your taken friends if they have any single friends.
