don't look at the other people until you are through reading!

the cool thing is - you will find inner strength in the very Psalm you're reading.
the thing that might help you with the public speaking is if you consider that the psalm is a conversation David had with God. David slays Goliath and saves the kingdom for Saul - who then hunted and pursued him like an animal for many years. David went through so much trouble and inner pain during this - and in this psalm you'll see David asking the questions - and a verse or so later you'll see him getting the answers.
So maybe when you're reading it, instead of just reading it - feel it a little more - be David asking God - getting answers.
I hate to say 'act' because that implies fake - but great actors take the writing and really feel it. Pretend you're David having this conversation out with God. practice that way - and when you do read it at church - go back to that place and forget about the audience. Feel it. there's plenty of emotions to go through in that psalm - and curiously enough it starts with fear - and arcs into joy.
Good luck and God Bless!

Just ask God to help you. Then walk up and dont worry, that is real faith. But if you do, still think about God helping you out. And you dont have to be perfect, the gaol is to reach people, not to be p perfect reader. You are allowed to make mistakes :)

Just pretend that the only one listening is Christ. He will give you the strength to read.

Do not worry...
Nobody will be hoping for you to sound bad, and others will not really be scrutinizing you. Just relax and read it loudly and with passion.
