Controlled bombings is the problem. Israel needs to go all out and bomb the living crap out of Lebanon. All of these Islamic radicals are in position to destroy the land of Israel and erase Jews from existence, that is their only motives and their only goals.

They are not counterproductive, they need to be more productive though by hitting terrorists and if a few civilians die, oh well, so be it...... its part of the price Lebanon has to pay for allowing these jerks to exist in the first place.

As for spreading the wars to other countries, yes I am sure it will, Iran just "can't" wait for Israel to loose more control, and seeing the way things are, they probably will attack Syria next, that is when the psychopathic "wanna be" president of Iran will "CONTINUE" with his support of grouping the terrorist and providing them as he is today with weapons of destruction.

USA did a great job in Iraq by taking out the madman, but there are plenty of them in the Arab nations, this is not a simple war, this can escalate, i believe, to a WW III.

Israel, like the U.S.A, does what it wants, when it wants, without impunity.
Mossad has been abducting and murdering people since 1948. Why do Palestinian militants attack Israel? Why did Poles, French, Dutch etc wage a guerrilla war against Germans? Could it be that their Countries were occupied by a that state?
Until Israel obey the UN mandate and get out of the occupied lands they took after the six day war, and recognise the right of Palestinians to have a land of their own. Then there will never be peace.
Hamas have maintained a truce since being democratically elected by their people, yet Mossad still assasinate and abduct them at will.
What Hezzbollah is doing is not right. But this "Tit for Tat" reaction leads to armageddon for the Middle East.
How does the bombing of a sovereign Country like Lebanon solve it?
Cut off the head of Hezzbollah and another will rise in its place.
TIME TO TALK!

When has any organisation or government ever tried denouncing the attacks on Israel by the other side. They have failed to see that 1 kidnap is far enough and you must target these people at their base. One must remember these people can live in Israel instead of these terrorist havens. They place civilians as body shields and expect Israel to do nothing, then the rest of the world attacks Israel for civilians casualties while not even looking at the way Lebanon has allowed its people to become targeted by these terrorists. The rest of the world will hate the U.S. for supporting Israel which will always be the case for time to come. The ones to blame are the governments that are allowing these terrorists to hide in their country yet that will never be brought up. Its just to simple. Although I do not agree to the bombing of innocent people, one must see that its like building a bombing plant in the middle of a suburb. Theres gona be deaths. And they will be blame at Israel. But never will the crises be actually blamed on the ones that truely started it. The ones that actually built it.

Yes. Israel's "reaction" to the abduction of three of their soldiers is not only way over the top, it is also extremely stupid and very dangerous. They know that they have not enough intelligence on Hezbollah to find out where the captured soldiers are held, so they try instead to bully Lebanon - a sovereign state that has not attacked Israel or done her any harm - into doing their bidding.
They are inspired to do so by the completely unprovoked and unjustified US attacks on and invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
And like those actions, the Israeli attacks on civilian targets in Lebanon are also immoral and illegal. Israel has joined the small group of paria states (USA, Britain, Australia and a few of their hapless lackeys) that don't give a hoot for international law and human rights. Welcome to the Brave New World!

No - Israel is defending its borders from Hezbollah and now Hamas. You only have to look at Iran threatening to wipe out the "Zionist" nation to know that Israel needs all the help it can get. I fully support the Israeli attack against Muslim targets. Muslims are the enemies of the free world, Israel has shown that it has the guts to take these terrorist pigs speaking in the terrorist language. I hope that Israel wipes out every single Muslim in the region and if it develops into a global war, then it is a global war I will fight as a Christian with my Jewish brothers against the threat of Islamic extremist domination. You should all get your heads out of the sand and see exactly what is going on around you - need I remind you of New York, Madrid, London to name but a few - We are already at war - at War with Islam.

The Israelis don't consider it's counter productive because it's in their interest to continually economically and politically weaken all their neighbours.Due to the military strength of Israel,it's tremendous nuclear capablity and religous fundimentalism, the rest of the world is now also afraid and has to kow tow to the Israelis.

If the Lebanese government cannot control armed factions and cannot prevent them from firing rockets into Israel then Lebanon is a free for all with no state control. Sad for the democratic peace loving people of Lebanon .. they cannot be that different from the rest of humanity.. but Israel will protect itself.
It's way past time to face facts. Israel is not moving. Why can't factions see that simple fact and get the best deal they can and sue for peace. The whole world wants peace.

the israeli bombings on palestine and lebanon are not justified in the first place.....
how are you supposed to declare self-defence by killing civilians? how are you supposed to bring an end to hezbollah regime by destroying airports and highways and killing innocent people who are not even involved?
I really hope this stops as soon as possible under international pressure (which doesn't seem to be building at the moment) so that the world may stay in peace. Iraq's story is bad enough!

Productive: No, They are only killing innocent children and old women. No real leaders in Lebanon have been killed yet.
Spread it: Not in the near future, they are stuck with Hezbollah who weren't expected to be this good and to have these weapons and rockets.
