As long as your kid continues to gain weight and grow in height, she is eating enough.
As the popular saying goes "Kids won't starve themselves". It is quite true. One meal might be big, followed by 5 small meals.
So long as she is growing, there is no need to worry.

However, if she is not growing, see your pediatrician. She might be anemic. This would cause lack of appetite.

i f you havent already done so you should take her to a doctor just to check her weight etc im sorry to pry but has something bad happened recently that has upset her? I only ask as my daughter used to eat fine then barely ate anything i dont know how old your kid is but kids dont have much in life that they can control other than what they eat, going to the toilet and when they sleep. When i came through a bad relationship my daughter stopped eating a big variety of things and was really thin- i know its hard but try and not make a huge deal hopefully your kid will eat when ready the doctor will tell you this as well but make sure you kid drinks a lot and keep a close eye on her weight but like i said take your child to a doctor i sympathise with how worried you must be good luck
p.s although my daughter is still fairly thin shes growing well so doesnt have to see a nurse any more take care of both of you x

Go to the doctor or purchase an over the counter medication for kids that will augment her appetite. Also try changing up the menu. Sometimes kids go through a phase where they don't want to eat (I know, because mine did!), so sometimes you have to give them that room, wait for her to let you know that she's hungry and then feed her. As the old saying goes, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink." The same is true for kids.

I agree that she will eat when she's hungry and not to worry; don't make a big deal out of it. Just make sure that you are offering lots of healthy stuff. I also found that if I skip morning snacks that the 3 year old eats lunch really well!! Also is she getting a lot of fruit juices or milk? Little kids tend to prefer to fill up on those--instead offer water.

If she is underweight please go to the doc!

The doctor can tell you if you should be concerned. My daughter goes through stages where I'm sure she doesn't eat at all and then eats like crazy. They usually know what their doing but it's a good idea to check with the doctor just for peace of mind.

Good luck!

Well, I think that depends on how old she is. If she's a toddler or young child, it's harder because if they don't want to eat, they won't. So if she's that young, just eat more often yourself. That way she'll follow in your footsteps. Young children usually want to do what their mothers do 24/7. But if she's older, like 8 or so, just talk to her and tell her why she should eat more often. She will probably understand.

First thing to remember, children will not starve themselves to death. The most important thing is wether your child want to eat or not, he/she has to be sitted at the table with all of you, with plate and cutlery in front of her/him and must stay there till everyone is finish

she'll eat when she gets HUNGRY enough.

quit worrying, go to the pediatrician and don't "bribe" her with junk food but don't "force" stuff on her that she hates...

you'll get it figured out and she'll be fine, Mom...
