The answer isn't that simple. It depends on the type of tumor...ie: is it aggressive? Did it originate in the bladder, or has it metastasized from somewhere else? Most bladder cancer is very treatable. They usually surgically remove the bladder, and then make a new one from part of the intestine. I have dealt with many patients who have survived it. Wasn't the most comfortable, but they did get through.

Cancer is at its worst when left untreated. Ask questions of your doctor, get second opinions when in doubt, and don't be passive in what you do about it.

Be careful. Tumors like this can have rapid or slow growth. Find doctors who specialize in this and get a PET/CT scan.

This is new and covered by medicare and commercial insurance.

Good luck!

the tumor either is or isn't cancerous. You just have to find out what type of tumor it is. Sorry ^^; Let's hope you guys caught it in time, and that it's not malicious! :) Good luck!
