And can i buy a new note book comuter and bring it bak to India with wout any additional duties or charegs..i mean are any applicable??

Of course you can bring it. They will ask to inspect it though. And it is a bit of a hassle with the security line (you have to take it out for them to look at and scan seperately).

However, you should have no problem with Canadian customs if those are "personal items" you brought with you. You'll only have to pay duty (upon your return to India) if you buy a computer in Canada.

Pretty sure the duty(tariff) on it depends on how long you were here in Canada and when you bought the notebook and it's value.

But yes they will want to inspect it, you know the state of world security and all.

i doubt it that theres a certain fee for that. there shouldnt be any problems.
