Depending if your baldness is hereditary or stress related.
Also if you are on a new medication it can also play havoc with hair growth. So first determine whether or not it's going to be a permanent thing. Alopecia can come in different forms, and not all are permanent. When baldness is attributed to stress, or new surroundings, then there a high chances that it will grow back.
If you are on a medication, perhaps you can ask for a lower dosage. Skin care medication has been well known to cause baldness.
Also a persons diet can affect the way in which their hair grows.
Vitamins are good for promoting stong hair growth.

By massaging your scalp regularly it can help to stimulate the hair follicle, which could in turn give it strength to continue growing, however it's not going to be a permanent solution, just a preventative... or slowing the process down.

Redken makes a product called Vivagen, im not sure if they still do make it, but I recommended it to clients, who were sure that it was helping their hair, along with the scalp massage.

Hair transplants can be very expensive, and im not sure where you are from. The process is like inserting small plugs of hair into the scalp. I believe that it could be painful, but if it's something that you really want to do, then thats they price you pay for vanity.
The downside to hair transplants is that it's obvious. The hairline is 'too' perfect, and you it's not just a single hair put here and there. Think of alfalfa sprouts of hair coming out of your head.

Good luck with whatever you choose. You may want to get a more professional opinion before paying the money out to get transplants.

Ny husband is in his 60's and he had been battling with baldness for the last 10 years. He is one of the first user of rogaine, a topical solution that came out of the market years ago. He used Rogaine for several years and then got tired of it 2 years ago. Last year he noticed that his hair is thinning again, although he thought Rogaine did not work but now he thinks that it did work not by having hair growth but by stopping the hair from falling.
This week he decided to use Avacor (now that they are FDA approved), I ordered the product for him, it cost almost $300 incl shipping for the 3 months supply with 1month free (total 4month supply) Avacor has a money back guarantee if not happy, you can return even empty bottles within the 2 1/2 months and will refund your money except for shipping and handling and the 1 month supply. So for trying a new product will only cost a little, if it doesnt work, its okey but you never know, it may work. Goodluck

Transplanting is the only solution, if you need a "solution". It's really expensive. Some girls like bald guys, so relax about it already. Plus, most fellas go bald eventually anyway! Grow a beard. Bald with facial hair is sexy!

Go for Hair Transplant. Cost of hair transplant is actually depends upon level of baldness, kind of hair density required, number of grafts required, hair transplant technique, clinic etc. I had my hair transplant at ARHT Global London. It was very affordable and was of best quality. Go for it !
