I love my girlfriend and we've been together for over 6 years. For some reason I feel like i've become second to her. Everything we do is always what she wants to do.

I talk to her about how i feel and she gets upset telling me that i have to stop "being like this".

She never seems excited to talk to me when I call, and when I see her she never seems to excited either.

For me it hurts because even after all this time I still feel the same way about her like I just met her.

The sex, non-exsistant. We're talking a few times a year. And when we do have it, I'll see the boredom in her eyes. That kills me. Am I a sucker for trying to believe she really loves.me?

Comments please

Also, I am educated and getting my life together. I'm applying for some law enforcement jobs and just waiting on them now. So i'm not a dead beat that lives off of my girlfriend.

We do have fun together but when I try to do things like tastefully kiss her in public she gets embarassed and shys away.

She works full time and I rarely see her and talk to her on weekdays. No phone calls to say hi, unless I call her; no text to say she's thinking of me, unless i do it first. Weekends are our time and sometimes she just seems so uninterested.

It sounds like you maybe in a rutt... and you need to spice up your relationship... take her somewhere special... or like on vacation... if you cant then you really need to sit her down and try to talk this out... i wish you the best of luck

i think i would brave up and break it off with her.. she does not love you and appreciate you... sex is a big part of a relationship.. and if she can not even get excited talking to you and being with you i would move on and find someone that can.. you may be wasting many years of your life in a frustrating relationship...so think about this some and then talk to her and tell her how you feel.. and if she does not like to talk with you about how you feel just say even if it hurts that you are not happy with the way things are going between you and her....

Do you need an escort out of the relationship? You've pretty much spelled it out for yourself that its over so now its time to accept the facts, pick yourself up off the mat and move on. Sounds like you've already stuck around too long...don't waste anymore time.

Your interests don't matter
Your conversation doesn't excite her
Your presence doesn't excite her
Your sex doesn't excite her

Yeah, its safe to say your time has run out on this one, bud.

I was with this guy for 10 yrs we never married but we got tired of eachother. I wanted to leave the relationship but he didn't so we are still together but live in seprate towns so when we see eachother the sex is so great and our love for eachother is strong even thou we are not really sure what eachother is doing.

maybe you are just too kind to her, i know thats a good thing, but to some girls -i dont know why- they need a guy that says no and shows kindness sometimes and toughness other times, they need this, i think it makes them feel they are girls and the man they love is a man, its the human nature.
i think from your words that you are too kind to her,
well you have to be kind but at some times , and you have to say no and show the bad you other times, you dont hace to agree on all things she say, say no all the time, thats the key to all girls -or most of them- .
"as long as you try to make them happy they will get bored more"
well thats if she really loves you and there's no other problems between you and her. i considered just her boredom in my answer.

and i think marriage is the best thing that can solve this kind of problems,
good luck

I'm sorry to tell you this, but if I were you I'd be out shopping for a new relationship . . this one is over, and the longer you hang on, the more painful it will get for you . . .there's nothing wrong with you, you sound like a very kind caring and sensitive person, go out and find someone who will worship those traits, their quite uncommon in a young man . . . good luck to you

Well the similar situation happen to me but i was the girlfriend. It wasnt like i stopped loving him, it was that i just got bored with him. Then it was other factors, like he didnt do anything with his life, i was his main focus, which was nice at some point. But he depended on me for him to be happy, to be his friend, lover, ect. Im not sayin its not my job to do all that... but he had no friends, no life. I hope this isnt you, if it is- get ur life together. She loves u but i think she got bored with u.

thats sad..
it reminds me of my friends relationship with her boyfriend. They have been dating for several years, they spend pretty much everyday together. she got use to seeing him and use to the idea that hed always be there. she started taking him for granted. one day he got tired of it and left her. it took her till then to realise what she had and how much she loves him. she told him she just needed time, its like that quote "you never know what you have until you lose it" maybe she just needs space to find herself again.
