The creation of Caesar's Salad has been attributed to an Italian, Caesar Cardini, who at the time was a restaurateur in Tijuana, Mexico. According to records, supplies in the Cardini establishment ran short one holiday weekend in 1924. Caesar experimented and that evening the Caesar's Salad was born

Actually a chef named ceasar from mexico. By the way, one of the main flavoring agents in a ceasar salad is crushed anchovies!

It's true that the caesar salad did originate in Mexico, but the original version did not have crushed anchovies. Instead, it had a few whole ancovies placed over it.
