between never having meat, or never having veggies again, which would you choose? I love meat, but I dont think I could do without salads, and fresh veggies.

Well, I would agree with you. Besides you can get fake meat products made with soy that simulate meat. Boca Burger's scrambles do make good sloppy joes. I like tofu anyway and Morning Star farms fake bacon is tasty. I've done Atkins and an all meat diet becomes SO BORING, everything started tasting like cardboard. I need much more variety than an all meat diet.

Brussels Sprouts forever!

If I couldn't have one of the two, I would take the veggies. You can make em taste like meat, but not the other way around.

I'd be able to give up meat way more easily since I was a vegetarian for 7 years but I could never be a vegan!

I would forgo meat before I would even consider fruits and veggies . . also, I think nutritionally, you couldn't live on just meat, you'd get ill quickly from lack of vitamins and minerals, while with veggies, the only thing you'll miss is B12 . . not so terribile

Hard question...both are good...by meat, do you mean red meat? Because if chicken's allowed, then I'd say no meat. If not...still no meat, you can get protein another way.

I'd say no more meat. I hardly eat it, except for the occasional burger. I like veggies more. :o)

you cannot get all your nutrients from meat, but if you try hard enough you can from veggies, so i'd go with veggies. but meat is yummy.
