Nope, you wouldn't get sick if you drank all the pickle juice in a pickle jar...unless it was a gallon jar. I've drank pickle juice many times...along with a glass of water as a "chaser." It's good and has never made me sick....have been doing this since I was a kid.

Yes, I think that would taste gross.

Pickle juice is merely a mixture vinegar, salt, sugar, and spices that has had cucumbers sitting in it for a while. You may or may not get sick, depending upon the amount you drink.
If your jar of pickles is one of those massive things that comes from a wholesale or restraunt supplier, then you may get sick drinking the gallon of juice the pickles sit in. Of course if you drink a gallon of anything alla t once you will get a sinking sick feeliing in your stomache.
If your jar has 2-12 ounces of juice (it likely does) then you should be fine. The salt and vinegar will make you thirsty, so if you try it, make sure to drink pleanty of water. You would do best to drink it over a length of time. If you avoid drinking it all at once, you shouldnt get that sinking sick feeling at all.

Pickles easily disgust me and that i favor to vomit in basic terms reading about this, yet i'd have some solutions. that is positive to drink (yet somewhat, somewhat gross). a large style of recipes that use chopped pickles will also call for the juice to be extra. also, there's a business enterprise interior the united states that sells "pickle pops" which isn't something yet frozen pickle juice that little ones eat like popsicles. I dunno how all that acid may experience interior the throat inspite of the actuality that so chase it down with some water.

If your stomach is sensitive to acid, then it will hurt. If you're sensitive to salt like I am, then you might bloat up big from all that sodium. Other than that, you won't get sick.

Dang, I can't eat even a pickle or a bag of chips without bloating up like the dead under a hot sun!

You usually end up making a face that includes one eye squinting. I've done this off & on throughout my life because I love vinegar. Nothing's happened. But now you've made my mouth water!

Yea. You'd probably get sick and REALLY thirsty because of all the salt in there.
