You need to remember that food is fuel. It sounds like right now you aren't getting enough. 600 to 800 calories a day is about half what you need to be eating in order to keep your body fueled. If your body doesn't have enough food it thinks it's starving and starts storing everything you do eat. Eating every 2-3 hours stops that process. Eat a lot of fruit, veggies and protein. Watch your carb intake (make it about 30% of your daily caloric intake)and definately your saturated fat intake. But make sure you are getting at least 20 grams of fet per day. If you don't, your body will store whatever it can to survive. It's a good idea to stop eating carbs and fat at least 2 hours before bed. That way your body has time to burn some of it off before you lay down. If you need a snack right before bed, choose fruit or low fat dairy products like a yogurt. A GREAT website to track all your food intake with is www.fitday.com. You can track all your calories and exercise and it tells your where you calories are coming from and what nutrients you may be lacking.
Forget detoxing. The only thing you need to do is start eating right and getting the proper nutrition through food. When you do that your body will detox itself.
Adding weights to a cardio program is a great way to up your metabolism and burn more calories. The more lean muscle your body has, the more calories it will burn at rest.
Once you do these things and stick with it you will notice that most of your digestive problems will disappear. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX! You have to commit to a more healthy lifestyle in order to live a long healthy life.

I've heard stopping eating at 7 pm. is a good way to lose weight. Or 3 hours before bedtime, either way. I don't think sitting in a steam room helps you burn fat. It just makes you sweat and lose water-which is not a good thing if you are not drinking water to replace it. Cellulite is from genetics and most women have it even if they don't want to admit it. You really can't do anything about it, except help it with firming cream or lotion. Cut out salty or high fat foods. You could have food allergies, like an allergy to milk or soy if you're constantly bloated, so watch what foods upset your stomach and then avoid them! Drink lots of water and peppermint tea to clean out your system. I think 600 calories is too drastic and will be detrimental to your changing lifestyle at first. Maybe 1000-1500 calories is better, especially if you're active. You should try swimming or working out on an ellyptical machine or a mini-trampoline (called a "rebounder") because those are all low-impact cardiovascular activities that won't hurt your back or knees. A mini trampoline only runs for about 30 dollars so it is a cheap way to get fit. I'd also suggest yoga for flexibility in your knees, hamstrings and back to alleviate pain.

Go on a fruit fast for a week. No bananas and only grapes, pineapple, mangos, papaya or watermelon. It will clear out you GI track and stop the constipation, maybe your hemeroids as well. Drink lots of water all the time all during the day. Keep it with you. Heat will not melt fat. Neither will belt driven motors or exercises targeted at just one place. There is no simple way.

To speed up your metabolism, you will have to exercise. Sounds like swimming will be a good thing to do at first. Push yourself. Do not eat after 6 every day. Eat meat on salads only. No cookies or any sugar. Eat vegies and fruits as much as you can. Any meal from them is a good one towards your goal.

No alcohol at all. Forget about the one glass of wine a day theory. Good luck and start studying nutrition.

Make sure you're eating enough, seriously, if you eat too few calories (you should eat a minimum of 1,400 - more if you're working out lots), otherwise once you start eating 'normally' again, that weight is going straight back on. That being said, weight lift! You WON'T develop muscles like men, but weight training, builds muscle & burns off fat, leaving you nice & toned - combine that with running/jogging/cycling 3 miles (not necessarily all at once), rather than walking. Walking is a good exercise, but there are better forms. Going for a 2 mile run is better than a slow-paced 3 mile walk. Cycling is brilliant, focuses on lots of areas of the body.

Hey. Losing weight, you need to learn about nutrition. Losing weight is not eating as little as possible. That makes you feel miserable and hungry and you'll end up eating twice the amount - actually gaining weight. Losing fat is making sure you are satisfied and motivated. Losing weight will help you with alot of physical problems you are describing, so get started!

First thing to do is to learn about nutrition. I'll recommend easy to read book: "The south beach diet" by Dr. Agatson. You can check out this internetsite: www.southbeach.com

Second thing to do is to start exercise. Building muscles is very important, because muscles increase metabolism.

Good luck.

It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic). You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water you drink doesn't hurt you. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

exercise! even if it's only a 15 min walk with 5 lb ankle weights ... gaining muscle speeds up metabolism. eat a good breakfast (protein) make it your biggest meal and supper your smallest. Give up refined carbohydrates but replace them with whole wheat so you don't feel your losing foods you like, the pasta tastes exactly the same.I lost 30 lbs this way. exercise helps with constipation too! A $2.95 Aloe Vera CURED me of severe ulcers, this after thousands of dollars in hospital bills and Rx that only promised to help.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
