First, you could still back up the files, folders, and programs on your 30G section using command/Dos. You could use this option if you were planning on reformating the 30G partition and installing the OS there.

Second, you could reinstall your Windows OS, and then use the Windows utilities to move/copy things on the 30G section. Make sure that you do not allow this install to reformat either partition, as that would delete all the data on that partition. Also, it will be just as easy to delete/format the 30G section after you reinstall your WinOS.

If you reinstall your OS, you will have to check that all of the older programs and files are correctly found by your new OS.

If you delete/repartition one of the partitions, there will be no change made to the other partition(s).

Before you do anything like that it is good to have a backup. Yes, you can delete the 30g section but then you have to recreate the 30g section and install Windows XP pro into it.

it is going to easily delete the partition without affecting the different partition. in spite of the shown fact that, it won't enlarge the partition into the hot empty area. to try this, you will could desire to circulate to regulate Panel->Administrative kit->computing gadget administration->Disk administration, and enlarge the partition.
