Take some time to yourself - it will refresh you and you'll be able to cope much more easily. It's hard not to get frustrated - it's what you do with your frustration that matters. You will feel much more capable if you are well-rested and your child will appreciate it too.

I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 1/2 year old. They are both going through their terrible two's at the same time right now. The younger one is a major mama's boy and whines to me about everything. When I say whines, I mean WHINEs! I don't think there is anything you could do to help not get frustrasted, but once you feel the frustrations come on, put the child in a room and close the door, and then lock yourself in the bathroom until you feel you are settled down and can handle the situation in a calm manner. I do that and I find the day to go a lot less stressful than usual. Try it out and see if it works for you!

umm get a babysitter. other than that, well, just remember that you were 2 too once, and your mom put up with you/ Dont take it out on the kid, they cant help it. Time outs work well too, if they understand the concept.

Patience. You have been once in that stage and your mom have taken a lot of patience and understanding for her now-impatient and almost frustrated daughter to her kid.
